Tim Morse
Faithscience

Faithscience is the long awaited follow-up to Tim Morse's debut album Transformation. To realize his musical vision Tim spent two years working with different musicians (including special guest David Ragsdale of Kansas), writing, arranging, and recording until he'd conjured up what he'd been hearing in his head. The music on Faithscience is in keeping with the grand tradition of progressive rock, painting a large musical landscape to express universal lyrical ideas.

No Man is an Island

This work was not originally intended to be a concept. It does, however reveal itself as such as it becomes more layered in play. This is due in part to the time it took for Mark to complete it, having performed and tracked each part individually. Meanings or depths would grow within the confines of its own frame in a given season.

No Man Is an Island is definitely an edgy CD with unusual, sometimes haunting melodies and subtle textures crossed with a guitar and drum driven charge that will sneak in some odd time and prog influence. Intense and at times ethereal.

Transformation

"Transformation" is a masterpiece of Progressive rock, combining the musical experimentations of the Seventies with modern production techniques and virtuoso performances. This album was written and recorded by keyboardist Tim MORSE and producer-multi-instrumentalist Mark DEAN over a period of two years without regard to budgets or deadlines. The only requirement for the two musicians was to paint the musical pictures they heard in their heads. The result features layers of keyboards textures, soaring guitar lines, intricate drum performances and passionate vocals. The musical styles jump from classical to hard-rock to jazz-rock fusion, yet these disparate elements are woven seamlessly together. This is an essential purchase if you love the music of bands such as GENESIS, YES, KANSAS, PINK FLOYD and RUSH. Not to be missed!
